The Periscope ship weather station is designed to measure, collect and display weather data.

Digital talk-back system ICB-131 ensures public address communication, pair communication, and conference call among users. The System may operate with external ATX and Command public address systems.

The System consists of different user and peripheral devices for operation in diverse environment, including areas with increased level of noise, humidity and dust. ICB-131 System may also include explosion proof signaling units and loudspeakers.

All user units are connected to the Central unit using two-wire line max. 700 m.

Digital communication allows for high quality signal, interference immunity and expanded functionality of the System.

The system receives external sound signals from all directions within bandwidth 70-820Hz, rebroadcasts the received signals to the appropriate location and equipment, indicating the sound signals source direction in relation to the vessel.


Features and advantages

— The basic system includes a sound signal receiver (main unit) and microphone unit
— 3 compact omnidirectional microphones are combined in a compact unit
— Signals are received within of 70-820 Hz (2100 Hz - at option), other signals are disregarded by the system
— Built-in heating allows sensors to operate in cold environment

Advanced isolated operator workstation

YKRM–1 is an advanced isolated operator work station with a wide range of functional capabilities.
The convenient and efficient arrangement of the controls and display elements enables the operator to observe the situation as a whole and react promptly.

The work station is compatible with the electronic map-making systems and Multitouch dispatching equipment. Besides the touch screen control, УКРМ-1 includes two classic industrial-version keyboards with trackball. Such organization of the controls will provide comfortable working environment even for the most conservative users.

The external LED lighting and the brightness of the desk-integrated display may be adjusted to provide comfort operation at any time of day and night.

Apart from the electronic systems, УКРМ-1 is equipped with drawers to store paper maps, books, manuals and navigation instruments.

YKRM-1 is manufactured either in "standing” or "sitting”-operation configuration. Customer solutions are also possible.

Further improvement of УКРМ-1-based functionality may be achieved by installing extra LCD’s and indicators in inclined vertical view plane and installing special controls for efficient solution of every single task.

The system offers

Public address communication in the following modes:

Thruster control system TCS-1011 controls the thruster, direction and speed of propeller rotation (by sending control signals to frequency converter), and all thruster units (frequency converter, electric motor, lubrication system, etc.).
TCS-1011 has three types of control:
— Local – using control panel of the local switchboard 1005-LSU
— Remote – using one of remote control stations RCS in the wheelhouse and / or other ship rooms
— Automatic – by dynamic positioning system and/or Joystick System.


Local control panel of switchboard LS is equipped with 8” resistive touch screen, produced by “NPK MSA”, and duplicating pointer indicators and controls.
Microcontrollers of TCS-1011 are based on state-of-the-art processor with performance 180 mln flops. The system is created according to modular design principle with modular dual redundancy. The number of internal modules can be changed to increase input or output signals from thruster sensors and external ship systems.
